Mark and the team finished the season as they started with a win, the icing on the cake to a fantastic year. After setting fastest lap in qualifying, Mark won Race 1 from pole position. Race 2 might have been the same but for an excursion into the kitty litter' at MacLean's. However, Mark made a great recovery to claw himself from the back of the field to 3rd place and enough points to win the day. The team were very pleased to win at the famous Donington Park. With one round still left to go at Donington Park, Mark and the Team have just clinched the 125 Open British Championship at Cadwell Park.
The day got off to a nervous start with an engine failure in qualifying. However, the team knew what they had to do to seal the championship and an engine change and a conservative second in race one did just that, British 125 Open Champions 2007!
Sincere gratitude go to all those that have helped prior to and during this year. Thanking the team of course (Peter, Gary, Carolyn, & Jenny), Derek Price at Magnum Motorsports, Andy & Mike at Carbro Sheet Metal Co Ltd and the many others who have contributed, you know who you are.

A water logged track for Friday practice and Saturday race day cancelled the championship round but the skies cleared for the British Kart Grand Prix on the Sunday. A second in the qualifying race was promising, but the engine seized immediately after the line. An off the pace rebuilt engine for the prefinal slowed Mark to finish 7th. Changes for the final were made and Mark had worked his way up the grid until coolant water on the track resulted in Mark spinning off on lap two leaving him down in 9th place. However, a stirling effort saw him work his way back through the pack to cross the line in 2nd place! Mark would like to thank the efforts of the team and tuner for their dedication, skill and support during the GP weekend and championship to date.

Next stop is Cadwell park in Lincolnshire which hosts this years British Grand Prix. With over 150 drivers from all round the world already entered for the weekend Mark is hoping for a good result and even more vital points for the championship. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Engine problems in qualifying saw Mark start the first race from the back of the grid, but pushing hard he overtook the leader to finish 1st, the fourth win of the season. Two good seconds in the subsequent races made Mark the overall winner of the day, extending the championship lead again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tyre choices in tricky weather conditions created a mixed grid at Oulton Park. Running in 1st and 2nd during the opening laps was looking promising until gearbox problems on lap 4 resulted in Mark coming home in 8th stuck in 4th gear. Starting down the grid for race 2 Mark pushed hard to work his way to the front leading for the final laps and taking the third win of the season. The win limited damage to the championship and the team left Oulton Park with the championship lead intact. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A dream start to the British Championship with pole position and 2 great wins by Mark and the team at Round 1 of the British Superkart Championship at Mallory Park. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
